His repertoire encompasses all epochs, from Bach and his predecessors to the contemporary music of György Ligeti, Phillip Glass and others. Of special interest are not only the toccatas and fantasias of Bach and the Baroque era, but compositions of the late 19th and early 20th century such as Max Reger and Maurice Duruflé. In addition to playing concerts and services, Stefan is also engaged in educating young organists, including giving masterclass and workshops. Stefan has always had an enthusiasm for colourful and unique organ registration, and this led him to develop a computer software for organ combination systems, which is used across Europe.
